Refund policy

In short

Cancel before we start: full refund.
Cancel after we start: you pay only for the addresses already in review.
If we make a mistake, we fix it at no charge or refund that address.
Refunds go back to the card or bank account you paid with. There is no fee.

Before we start

You can cancel an order, or any address in it, until we begin work on it. Email hello@hudenvreview.com with the order number (it starts with EO-), and we refund every cancelled address in full.

After we start, before delivery

You can still cancel. We refund each address we have not yet started and charge only for the addresses already in review.

Addresses we can’t review

Each service covers its program’s area only. An address the Census geocoder places outside it, or whose ZIP code lies wholly outside it, can’t be ordered, so you are never charged for it. If we can’t produce a report for an address, for example because it can’t be located even after we check with you, or because an address we couldn’t place when you ordered turns out to be outside the program’s area, we tell you before reviewing it and refund that address.

After delivery

Delivered reports are final, except for our mistakes. If you find an error we made, such as a misread record or a wrong distance, tell us within 30 days of delivery. We will correct the report and send it again at no charge, or, if we can’t correct it, refund that address. Errors in the public sources themselves are covered in the Terms of service.

Organizations on invoice

If your organization is invoiced, cancelled addresses are left off the invoice. The same rules apply to anything already paid.

Duplicate payments

If you are charged twice for the same order, we refund the duplicate in full.

How refunds are paid

Refunds go back to the card or bank account you paid with, through Stripe. Card refunds usually appear within 5 to 10 business days; bank transfer refunds can take longer. We do not charge a fee for refunds.
